Tuning
Brings your piano back in tune so that it sounds clear and balanced. The final price of the tuning is based on how out of tune the piano is. The further it is out of tune, the more work is needed for the final tuning to be stable.

Tuning & Touch
Highly recommended. Includes a full tuning and targeted adjustments to the piano’s inner mechanism to improve the keys’ touch and responsiveness.

complete service
Full tuning, plus a full regulation of the aftertouch of all keys. This will dramatically improve the feel of the piano and give it a professional-level consistency across the keyboard.

Additional Services
Voicing
Does your piano sound too bright and tinny, or too muffled? Voicing can fix that. Some basic voicing is done during every tuning, but this service will improve the tone of all 88 keys.

Repairs
Keys stuck down? Broken hammers, strings, or case parts? Short of total rebuilds, I can probably fix it.
Each repair is unique, and I will quote a price once the full scope of the repair is assessed.
Key Top Replacement
Is your piano’s keyboard looking rough, with yellowed, chipped, or missing key tops? I can replace them and make your keys look brand-new. White plastic and imitation ivory keys are available.
$400 for white key tops
$200 for black key tops
Dampp-Chaser Piano Life Saver System Installation
The Dampp-Chaser Piano Life Saver is a high-tech, low-maintenance humidity control system which maintains a constant and ideal humidity level around your piano’s soundboard. Humidity changes are the main reason pianos go out of tune, and the Piano Life Saver can both prolong the integrity of each tuning as well as your piano’s lifespan.
The quoted price includes the price of the Piano Life Saver system, installation cost, and required tuning a month after install.

I am certified by Dampp-Chaser to install and maintain Piano Life Saver systems.
Services I don’t provide at this time include:
Piano lessons.
Piano moving.
Piano sales including purchasing pianos.
Rebuilding or refinishing.
Professional appraisal for insurance purposes; I am not a licensed appraiser.
Services for digital keyboards, organs, and similar instruments: while they look similar on the outside, these are totally different instruments from pianos and require a different skillset to service.
