Basic Service

Standard piano tuning with some limited voicing. Note that tuning alone is not considered complete piano maintenance.

Essential Service

In addition to tuning, includes some limited regulation, which helps your piano function correctly and feel better to play.

Focused Service

(RECOMMENDED)

In addition to tuning, your whole piano will receive regulating to a level that is great for most piano owners.

In addition to tuning, your piano will receive an all-day complete regulation, which will significantly improve how it feels to play.

Spinet Service

While the design of drop-action spinets hinders regulation, this service, which includes tuning, will still improve the way your spinet piano feels to play.

(Grand pianos only)

Your piano will receive concert level regulating over two days that addresses the minute details.

Pitch Adjustment

For all of the services listed here, if your piano’s pitch has fallen further than 30 cents flat on average, an additional rough tuning will be required for the tuning to be stable.

Voicing

Is your piano sounding too bright and tinny? Or perhaps too muffled? Voicing can fix that. Some basic voicing is offered with every tuning, but this service will improve the tone of all 88 keys.

Repairs

Keys stuck down? Broken hammers, strings, or case parts? Short of total rebuilds, I can probably fix it.

Each repair is unique, and I will quote a price once the full scope of the repair is assessed.

Key Top Replacement

Is your piano’s keyboard looking rough, with yellowed, chipped, or missing key tops? I can replace them and make your keys look brand-new. White plastic and imitation ivory keys are available.

Dampp-Chaser Piano Life Saver System Installation

The Dampp-Chaser Piano Life Saver is a high-tech, low-maintenance humidity control system which maintains a constant and ideal humidity level around your piano’s soundboard. Humidity changes are the main reason pianos go out of tune, and the Piano Life Saver can both prolong the integrity of each tuning as well as your piano’s lifespan.

The quoted price includes the price of the Piano Life Saver system, installation cost, and required tuning a month after install.

  • To my knowledge, there are no local movers dedicated to moving pianos, so for now, you will have to turn to one of the local furniture moving companies.

  • I do not currently do total rebuilds or refinishing, which would require moving the piano.

  • I am not currently involved in the business of buying, selling, or refurbishing pianos.

  • While they may look similar to pianos, digital keyboards and organs are totally different instruments on the inside which have different maintenance requirements.
