Hello, I’m Justin Elswick.
Music has always, in some way, been a part of who I am as a person.
From childhood church plays to singing in the high school choir - and of course, playing the piano - music has shaped my life in countless ways. Outside of my work as a piano technician, I serve as president of EKHO, our local men’s barbershop chorus, and lead worship at Southside Church of the Nazarene in Catlettsburg. Because music is so central to my life, I understand how deeply it matters to others; that is what drives me to provide the highest quality piano care. I believe in music’s power to bring people together and enrich our lives, and I’m honored to support that through my work.
Now in my fourth year as a piano technician, I’m proud to serve the KYOVA Tri-State area, where I’ve lived my entire life. I’m a member of the Lexington Bluegrass Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild, the leading professional organization for our field. Through the Guild, I’ve received extensive hands-on training and am currently working toward becoming a Registered Piano Technician, a nationally respected certification that requires passing a series of rigorous exams.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients across the region. My services have supported institutions like the Paramount Arts Center, Kentucky Christian University, Ohio University Southern, Sandy’s Racing & Gaming, and Delta Hotels Ashland. I also work with many local churches and hundreds of individual piano owners from Portsmouth to Paintsville, Morehead to Hurricane, and beyond.
Whether you’re a professional performer, a church music director, or simply someone who loves their family piano, I’m here to help you get the best out of your instrument.
